Stratco is seeking a qualified Mechanical Maintenance Fitter to join our Ormeau Manufacturing team.

Working within a skilled maintenance team, you'll be responsible for preventative maintenance, fault finding and repairs across a range of manufacturing equipment, helping keep production running safely and efficiently.

WHAT'S INVOLVED  

• Preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs
• Fault finding and diagnostics
• Machinery upgrades and continuous improvement projects
• Reading technical drawings and documentation
• Working closely with production teams
• Maintaining a safe and reliable work environment

EQUIPMENT YOU'LL WORK ON

• Roll forming equipment
• Press brakes 
• Hydraulic presses
• Folding machinery 
• Pneumatic and hydraulic systems

ABOUT YOU

• Trade qualified Mechanical Fitter
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Experience in manufacturing or industrial maintenance
• Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Safety-focused with a strong work ethic
• Able to work independently and within a team
• Our site operates a range of manufacturing equipment including:

Highly regarded:

• Disconnect / Reconnect Electrical Licence 
• Welding or fabrication experience
