The role brings together accounting, inventory analysis, business partnering and commercial insight, giving you the chance to see how the numbers translate into real business decisions. We’re open to people from a range of backgrounds, whether you’re a recent graduate with 2–3 years’ experience, an Assistant Accountant ready to broaden your skill set, an inventory or stock specialist looking to deepen your financial expertise, or an auditor ready to make the move from public practice into a dynamic commercial environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with month end accounting procedures and report activities
• Support the preparation of monthly profit and loss reports
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances
• Assist with journal preparation and general ledger mainteancne
• Assist with financial analysis and reporting for manufacturing and distribution operations
• Support inventory reporting and stock valuation processes
• Participate in stock takes and cycle count activities
• Work closely with operational teams to improve stock accuracy and reporting processes

About you

• An auditor seeking your first move into a commercial accounting environment

Essential

• Degree qualifications in Accounting
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 

CA or CPA qualifications are desirable, or an interest in pursuing, and experience using ERP systems such as Oracle or MYOB will be  highly regarded.
