This is a key role that will oversee dispatch operations, warehouse, and yard supervision, ensuring that every shipment is accurate, timely, and safely handled. With sophisticated manufacturing facilities, retail stores, and professional trade representation throughout Australia and New Zealand, Stratco has supplied a comprehensive range of products to the building and construction industries, and home improvement and DIY markets for over 75 years. Broadly, your responsibilities will also encompass: - Dispatch Operations: Supervise and coordinate all dispatch activities to ensure efficient and accurate order fulfillment, including reviewing schedules, dispatch plans, and stock levels.
- Warehouse Supervision: Lead the warehouse team to manage stock inventory, oversee inbound and outbound logistics, and maintain organised storage of products.
- Yard Management: Monitor and direct the organisation of the yard, ensuring that loading/unloading areas are optimised for safety, efficiency, and smooth flow of materials.
- Liaise and assist clients regarding deliveries
- Stocktaking, including rolling stock takes, stock ordering/transferring
- Loading and unloading trucks as is required
- General factory housekeeping activities
- Adhere to our critical safety rules & contribute to a safe working environment
