We currently have an outstanding position available based at our Home Improvement Store in Gepps Cross. This position involves greeting customers, designing and selling of Stratco products, answering questions, and identifies tailored solutions across Stratco’s comprehensive range of outdoor and home improvement products. This includes clearly communicating product features, design options, and practical considerations, while ensuring each recommendation aligns with the customer’s vision, budget, and functional needs. This is permanent, full-time opportunity working an 8-hour Day Shift. Location: Gepps Cross, South Australia. Remuneration: $78,000 to $85,000 (negotiable based on relevant qualifications and experience and including weekend roster). KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - Maintain a clean and safe workspace, and abide by workplace health and safety policies and procedures
- Actively participate in safety related activities such as hazard/incident reporting, workplace inspections, toolbox and other safety meetings
- Deliver exceptional customer service
- Assist customers to find innovative solutions for their projects using Stratco world class products and materials
- Build strong relationships with our customers to attract and grow the business
- Ensure all our customers are followed up in a timely manner
- Contributing to the team in the design and drafting of durable, lightweight steel framing solutions, including Tuffloor and Pro-Beam flooring, which are ideal for residential projects.
- Assisting in the detailed drawings for Nineline Wall Cladding and Stratco Hiland Tray, innovative architectural facade solutions that are widely praised by architects for their bold, sleek, and minimalist profiles. These products transform simple geometric shapes into striking, contemporary design statements that enhance the overall aesthetic of the property.
- Creating 3D models with custom pitch for purpose-built structures, in alignment with Australian Building Codes and wind classifications. These models seamlessly integrate Stratco products to assist architects in finding tailored solutions, including coordinated cladding and roofing, along with precision-moulded flashings in any Colorbond colour that elevate design depth.Strict adherence to our critical safety rules & contributing to a safe working environment
ABOUT YOU - Essential – At least 1 year experience in a similar Design/Architectural role
- Exceptional customer service and sales skills
- IT proficient with the ability to learn systems quickly
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Commitment to producing quality products
- Desirable – Tertiary qualifications in building, Architecture or related fields
