THE OPPORTUNITY

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Trainee Sales Specialist based in our Ormeau Sales Centre at our QLD head office. This position is permanent full time and includes working a rotating roster of alternate Saturdays 9 am - 2 pm. No Sunday’s or evenings!

As a trainee, you’ll be supported with hands-on training, mentoring, and development to build your skills and confidence in sales, customer service, and our products. This role is ideal for someone starting their career or looking to grow into a sales role.

RESPONSIBILITIES

With support from experienced team members, you'll learn how to: 

• Assist customers in person, over the phone, and via email
• Build positive customer relationships and deliver great service
• Learn how to design and sell Stratco products
• Process inbound sales enquiries and enter customer orders accurately
• Develop your product knowledge through ongoing training
• Follow safety procedures and contribute to a safe workplace

ABOUT YOU

• Essential – Computer and data entry skills
• Essential – Desire to learn Stratco products and industry
• Essential – Available to work Saturdays (9am - 2pm) 
• Desirable – Experience in building industry or manufacturing
• Willingness to enhance the customer experience and create brand loyalty
• Whilst experience is great, it’ll be your passion, reliable attitude and personality that set you apart
