As a key member of the team, your role will include:

• Quantifying of materials (predominantly in metal products), determining quantities and costs of materials required
• Accurate and detailed costing analysis
• Preparation of quotes, works orders and order requisitions
• Ensuring accuracy of documentation and compliance requirements
• Liaising with Stratco team members, suppliers and customers
• Collaborate with team members, other business areas and undertakes projects as required
• Strict adherence to our critical safety rules and contributing to a safe working environment

Skills and attributes:

• Previous experience in an estimating position
• The ability to quickly and accurately read plans, complete costings, take-offs and design skills in the building industry will be a distinct advantage
• Attention to detail and accuracy with numbers and measurements
• Excellent computer and data entry skills
• Strong customer focus and a sense of urgency to achieve results
• Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills
