With more than 70 years' of experience in the building and home improvement markets, Stratco has become one of Australia’s largest manufacturers, marketers and retailers of quality building and home improvement products in Australia and is actively pursuing a place on the world stage. Stratco now has state of the art manufacturing facilities in all mainland states of Australia along with a network of home improvement stores throughout the country.  

We are now seeking a store development specialist to take a pivotal role in planning, coordinating and delivering our new store openings and redevelopment programs across Australia. Whether your background is in store development, building sector, architectural design or retail fit‑out’s, this is your opportunity to shape the physical evolution of a major brand.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Secure and shape new locations by working closely with the General Manager of Retail, Store Development and Retail Teams.

• Own budget planning and cost management across construction, design, fit out and all store development related expenses.

• Champion brand consistency, ensuring store design and visual branding are maintained across the network.

• Engage and manage external partners including contractors, printers, architects, councils, to bring the projects to fruition.

• Collaborate with the marketing team to deliver memorable and successful grand openings.

The individual

You will bring experience gained from store development, commercial fit‑out, architectural/building design, or you may be a tradie looking for a change. Additionally, an individual that can demonstrate:

• Strong project coordination capability balancing timelines, budgets and multiple concurrent projects.

• A proactive, organised, and solution‑focused approach in fast‑paced environments.

•  Excellent communication skills, and a meticulous eye for detail to ensure every store aligns with Stratco’s brand, standards and customer experience vision
