Are you a Quantity Surveyor ready to take charge of costs, maximise value, and keep various projects on track?

A full-time opportunity presents to become part of a dynamic, collaborative team in our Christchurch operations. Reporting to our Aluminium Cladding Systems Manager, you will play a key role in producing quotes and estimates, tracking costs and performance activity. More broadly, your remit will encompass: 

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for aluminum cladding systems including cladding, sub-framing, fixings, brackets, and associated works.
• Preparing designs, schedules, quantities, quotations, and tender submission documentation for Aluminium Cladding system projects, and the preparation of 3D models as part of the quotation process.
• Conduct customer follow up on projects, engaging regularly to ensure project completion.
• Attending and assisting with pre-let meetings and consultations as required, to ensure that quoted scope of works, methodologies and payment terms are understood and accurately documented, overseeing project delivery.
• Establish and maintain excellent relationships with key internal teams and external stakeholders, keeping everyone aligned, informed and on budget.

As such, we’re looking for a confident individual, with experienced gained in a Quantity Surveying role, and a person who treats cost management like a craft—
sharp, elegant, and always one step ahead.

What you’ll bring:

• Tertiary qualifications in a related field
• Proficiency with QS/Estimating software
• Ideally experience in residential and commercial contracts
• The ability to quickly and accurately read plans, complete costings, take-offs.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills
• Whilst not essential, sales experienced gained within the building industry will be a distinct advantage
