We currently have an opportunity available in our Retail Sales & Design Team, based at our Home Improvement Store in Mandurah. This position involves greeting customers, designing and selling of Stratco products, answering questions, stocking shelves, maintaining displays and assisting with general store maintenance. You will liaise with our trade and retail customer base, servicing a wide range of our products and services to ensure that our customers get exactly what they need! This is a permanent, full-time opportunity working on a rotating roster including Saturday shifts. The store is open Monday to Friday 7.30am to 4.30pm and Saturday 8.00am to 3.00pm. The right candidate will be competitively remunerated (based on relevant skills and experience) as well as enjoy the benefit of store discount! Duties will include: - Providing excellent customer service and selling goods.
- Recommending products and helping customers find what they need.
- Guiding customers through the design process utilising CAD software.
- Ensuring products are correctly priced and displayed, maintaining store stock levels.
- Collaborating with other team members to keep the store running smoothly.
- General housekeeping to ensure our store is always presentable.
- Assist in customer pick-up area to ensure products are loaded safely into customer vehicles.
- Engage in regular product and sales training.
- Strict adherence to our critical safety rules and contributing to a safe working environment.
Skills and attributes: - Proven ability to provide solutions and drive sales.
- A passion to deliver outstanding customer service.
- Previous experience within a retail and/or building industry preferred.
- Competent with a variety of software systems.
- Highly organised with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Forklift license or willingness to obtain.
- Previous design consulting or building experience desirable, but not necessary.
