THE OPPORTUNITY

An exciting opportunity has become available in our Outback Patio department for an Estimator to join our team based in Huntingwood. This role is part of our collaborative trade sales team and focuses on designing patio solutions & structures while delivering exceptional service and accurate cost estimates for our customers’ projects. 

As an Outback Patio Estimator, your responsibilities will include preparing Bills of Material (BOM), providing expert advice on patio products, supporting the sales team (Trade & Retail), and offering technical product insights.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Reviewing residential patio projects to determine required material within the Stratco product range
• Determining quantities and costs of materials required
• Liaising with Stratco team members, suppliers and customers
• Preparation of quotes, works orders and order requisitions
• Ensuring accuracy of documentation and compliance requirements
• Collaborate with team members, other business areas and projects as required 
• Strict adherence to our critical safety rules & contributing to a safe working environment

ABOUT YOU

• Essential – relevant experience in an estimating role
• Essential – excellent computer and data entry skills
• Essential – the ability to read plans, generate BOM and complete pricing proposals
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment, juggling multiple deadlines and projects
• Willingness to enhance the customer experience by working with enthusiasm, energy, and pace
