THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Business Development Professional to join the West Coast Sheet Metal team.

Reporting directly to the General Manager, this full-time role offers a dynamic opportunity to serve as the key point of contact between West Coast Sheet Metal and our customers across the region. This essential position will involve travel both locally and regionally to maintain existing business relationship and diligently forge new relationships to leverage business opportunities.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop new business and identify emerging markets.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
• Represent West Coast Sheet Metal at trade shows and industry events.
• Provide regular sales reports and updates on business performance.
• Ensure all customer requirements are met to the highest standard.
• Adhere to safety policies and company procedures at all times

SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES 

• Exceptional interpersonal skills to connect with diverse stakeholders
• Experience in technical sales environments with a focus on tailored solutions
• Demonstrated ability to build trust and long-term partnerships with customers
• Strong attention to detail and time management capabilities
• Ability to work independently while managing travel schedules effectively
• Familiarity with technical drawings, specifications, and sales order processing
• Proficiency in IT systems and the ability to adapt quickly to new platforms
• A flair for developing innovative, customer-focused solutions
• Competent using Microsoft Office suite
