Matrix Steel is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Customer Service Officer to join our Coffs Harbour team. This is an exciting opportunity for a sales professional who thrives on building strong relationships - both in person and over the phone - and is passionate about delivering quality service and supporting business growth.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage and grow an existing customer base while identifying new sales opportunities in the region.
• Lead and support a small manufacturing team.
• Promote and drive the growth of our roofing product offering locally.
• Introduce and expand the reach of our Sheds product line within the Coffs Harbour market.
• Contribute to local marketing and brand initiatives to increase visibility and engagement.
• Work closely with Site Supervisors to ensure smooth, professional delivery and installation of projects.

ABOUT YOU

• Proven ability to build and maintain long term client relationships.
• Strong sales background - experience in the building industry highly regarded.
• Self-motivated with a proactive, hands-on approach.
• Technical aptitude and confident communicator across all levels.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Customer-first mindset with strong internal and external service focus.
• Positive team attitude and strong work ethic.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
