THE OPPORTUNITY

Due to an internal promotion, we are on the lookout for a keen and enthusiastic Roll Form Operator to help produce our popular Outback product range. If you have familiarity with metal fabrication or similar manufacturing and want to learn and development skills with a range of modern machines, then we strongly encourage you to apply!

This is permanent, full-time opportunity working day shift with overtime and potential weekend work available.

Location: Gepps Cross, South Australia.

Remuneration: Negotiable hourly rate based on relevant qualifications and/or experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Undergo various roll form machine and product training
• Interpret product drawings to program the folding machine according to specifications
• Manual handling of finished Outback-related products
• Conduct basic preventative and breakdown maintenance in liaison with the maintenance team
• Participate in training in the use of other plant and machinery as required
• Collaborate with team members, other business areas and projects as required
• Strict adherence to our critical safety rules & contributing to a safe working environment 

ABOUT YOU

• Familiarity with manufacturing equipment, particularly roll form machines and metal bending machinery (folders, brake press etc)
• Experience in conducting basic preventative and breakdown maintenance
• Competent using computer technology to program machines
• Ability to read and interpret job sheets and product drawings
• Effective problem solver who can develop solutions that meet the customers’ needs
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Commitment to producing quality products
• Willingness to enhance the customer experience by working with enthusiasm, energy, and pace
