THE OPPORTUNITY Stratco is seeking a motivated and professional Corporate Accountant to join our dynamic finance team at our Gepps Cross headquarters. Reporting directly to the Group Finance Operations Manager, you will take ownership of our fixed assets as well as associated accounting functions to ensure our senior stakeholders can make informed business decisions. This role is ideal for an accounting professional with a solid foundation that wants to take the next long-term career move with a large, corporate entity. We also offer flexible working hours and part-time options. RESPONSIBILITIES - Maintain and reconcile the fixed asset register, including acquisitions, disposals, transfers, and WIP
- Assist the team with period end close procedures and monthly reporting for fixed and intangible assets
- Liaise with internal teams to ensure accurate coding, approvals, and documentation
- Completion of monthly accounting processes including general journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, BAS and FBT
- Reconcile corporate credit card transactions and staff reimbursements, ensuring compliance with company policies
- Provide additional assistance to the Finance team as required
ABOUT YOU - Essential - Degree qualified in Accounting or Commerce or equivalent experience
- Essential - Prior experience in commercial accounting with a large organisation
- Desirable - CA or CPA accreditation
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Advanced Excel skills
- Experience with Oracle is advantageous
- Detail oriented, organised, and able to meet deadlines
- Eager to learn and take ownership within a supportive finance team
