THE OPPORTUNITY

Are you passionate about technology? Do you want to be a part of transforming our manufacturing processes? Well look no further!

Due to the installation of our new, state of the art automated duplex folder at Stratco Pty Ltd's Gepps Cross HQ, we are on the lookout for an experienced folding operator to become a valued member of our team, producing various metal flashings as we look to transition from labor intensive to fully automated folding operations.

This is permanent, full-time opportunity working day or afternoon shift with overtime and weekend work available.

Location: Gepps Cross, South Australia.

Remuneration: Negotiable hourly rate based on relevant qualifications and/or experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Undergo automated duplex folder training to utilise automated functions
• Interpret product drawings to program the folding machine according to specifications
• Manual handling of finished flashings post folding
• Conduct basic preventative and breakdown maintenance in liaison with the maintenance team
• Work with the automation and innovations team to achieve maximum efficiency and output of the automated machine
• Participate in training in the use of other plant and machinery as required
• Collaborate with team members, other business areas and projects as required
• Strict adherence to our critical safety rules & contributing to a safe working environment 

ABOUT YOU

• Certificate III in Engineering (Sheet Metal) or similar is desirable, but not essential
• Experience using Sheetmetal manufacturing equipment, particularly roll form machines and metal bending machinery (folders, brake press etc)
• Experience in conducting basic preventative and breakdown maintenance
• Comfortable using technology for the purpose of machinery programming
• Effective problem solver who can develop solutions that meet the customers’ needs
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Commitment to producing quality products
• Willingness to enhance the customer experience by working with enthusiasm, energy, and pace
• Whilst experience is great, it’ll be your passion, reliable attitude and personality that set you apart
