THE OPPORTUNITY Fancy a career with a leading manufacturer and retailer of premium building products? Then look no further, our Gepps Cross headquarters is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic warehousing professional to join our vibrant team. With on-the-job training, you will have the opportunity to help oversee the packing and loading of products for our valued trade and retail customer base. This is a diverse and hands-on role which will require a keen eye for detail to ensure products are delivered on-time, every time. This is a full-time, day shift position working from 7am - 3:36pm, Monday to Friday with potential for overtime hours. RESPONSIBILITIES - Picking orders: Use pick lists or handheld scanners to accurately locate and pick items from the warehouse
- Packing: Carefully pack orders using appropriate materials to ensure products arrive safely to customers
- Quality control: Inspect items for correct labelling
- Stock management: Help with stock replenishment, rotating stock, and updating inventory systems
- Loading/unloading: Assist with loading and unloading delivery vehicles when needed
- Workstation upkeep: Keep your work area clean, organised, and free of hazards
- Health & safety: Adhere to our critical safety rules & contribute to a safe working environment
- Teamwork: Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet daily picking and packing targets
ABOUT YOU - Car License (essential)
- LF Forklift Licence (desirable but not essential)
- A passion to deliver outstanding customer service
- Attention to detail
- The ability to work in a team environment
- Physically fit who enjoys working outdoors
