THE OPPORTUNITY

Looking to start your career with a national company that embraces career development opportunities? Stratco's Berrimah manufacturing facility is currently looking for a motivated and enthusiastic person to join their day shift Operations Team. Reporting to the Production Manager, you will oversee the manufacturing of various metal products, utilizing a variety of machines to produce quality products in a safe and efficient manner.

This is a casual, full-time opportunity working a minimum of 38 hours per week on Day Shift (7:30am to 3:36pm). A permanent position is available for the right candidate.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Interpreting product drawings and supporting manufacturing products to customer requirements
• Operating roll form and general sheet metal equipment
• General housekeeping tasks
• Collaborate with team members, other departments and projects as required
• Participate in training for specific items of plant and equipment
• Strict adherence to critical safety rules & contributing to a safe working environment

ABOUT YOU

• Essential - strength and fitness to undertake a frequent movement and lifting role
• Desirable - manufacturing or sheet metal experience  
• Desirable - Forklift license & experience 
• Basic awareness of safety standards and alertness of moving parts & people
• Whilst experience is great, it’ll be your passion, reliable attitude and personality that set you apart!
• Willingness to enhance the customer experience by working with enthusiasm, energy, and pace
