THE OPPORTUNITY

An exciting opportunity has become available for an Estimator to join our enthusiastic team based in Cromwell. Reporting to the Central Otago Manager, this key position will be responsible for preparing cost estimates and quotes for supply and install of our roofing, cladding and rainwater goods projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare accurate and timely cost estimates and quotes for our valued customers
• Utilise CAD software to accurately and efficiently take-off material quantities from architectural drawings
• Establish and maintain effective relationships with suppliers, statutory bodies, architects, designers, builders, and property owners to ensure consistent, high-quality results
• Collaborate with team members, other business areas and projects as required
• Strict adherence to our critical safety rules & contributing to a safe working environment

ABOUT YOU

• Ideally hold a National Diploma in Quantity Surveying (NDQS) or New Zealand Certificate in Quantity Surveying (relevant trade or tertiary qualifications may also be considered)
• Ideally proficient utilising estimating software
• Confident utilising multiple IT systems and software
• Have great attention to detail and a passion for quality
• Have a hands-on approach and can-do attitude
• Willingness to enhance the customer experience by working with enthusiasm, energy, and pace 
• Whilst experience is great, it’ll be your passion, reliable attitude and personality that set you apart
