THE OPPORTUNITY

Companywide growth and subsequent team rearrangements has opened a career defining vacancy and rare opportunity to lead our day shift logistics team as Despatch Manager.  Stratco’s Ormeau manufacturing and distribution facility is looking for a motivated, professional, customer focused, and experienced manager to join our logistics team, reporting to the State Logistics Manager.

This is a FULL TIME role – working day shift hours – Monday to Friday.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee DIFOT, reworks, stock transfers, load accuracy and transport costing
• New starter inductions, data analysis, reporting and overseeing day shift operations
• Implement process and housekeeping to ensure best customer service & product delivery possible
• Support and coordinate team member training and development
• Collaborate with team members, other departments and on projects as required
• Strict adherence to our national critical safety rules & contributing to a safe working environment

ABOUT YOU

• Essential - Experience in a despatch supervisory or management role, ideally within building or manufacturing industries
• Essential - Experience in vehicle loading & Fork lift licence
• Essential – Experience with Microsoft Office suite & delivery management planning systems
• Relentless passion to drive processes and systems, and lead a team to do the same
• Willingness to enhance the customer experience by working with enthusiasm, energy, and pace
