THE OPPORTUNITY

Continued business growth has created an opportunity for motivated and enthusiastic Production Team Member join the operations team based at Ormeau to manufacture and assemble products for our trade and retail customer base.

This is a full-time opportunity working Monday to Friday.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manufacturing and assembling of Purlins to the customers’ requirements
• Operating and off siding Purlin Mill
• Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications 
• Collaborate with team members, other departments and projects
• Participate in training in the use of specific items of plant and equipment
• Maintain a clean and organised work area 
• Strict adherence to our critical safety rules & contributing to a safe working environment

ABOUT YOU

• Essential – Problem solving and inquisitive mindset to learn Stratco products
• Essential – Strength and fitness to undertake a frequent movement and lifting role
• Essential – Basic awareness of safety standards and alertness of moving parts & people
• Desirable – Experience with sheetmetal manufacturing equipment will be highly regarded
• Strong mechanical aptitude with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Sound awareness of safety standards and alertness of moving parts & people
• Willingness to enhance the customer experience by working with enthusiasm, energy, and pace
