Stratco has been providing quality manufacturing and marketing of building and home improvement products to the New Zealand and Australian markets for over 70 years. About the role

 

As an exceptional people manager, you will be recognised for having developed strong teams across sales, customer service and manufacturing. This will include strong people management, sales and marketing activities, managing customer relationships, along with (ideally) exposure to operational and logistical responsibilities.

 

Your team will turn to you for support and guidance, providing you with the opportunity to shape outcomes positively while also readily stepping in to lend a hand when needed. You are simply dynamic in everything you do.

 

Engaging customers with your charismatic style you'll be well thought of as an approachable leader and someone who meets and exceeds expectations. You'll bring to the table strong analytical/operational skills, an understanding of business drivers including P&L performance and be well versed at change management.

 

Accordingly, your key attributes will include:

  • Proven ability to build strong relationships within the construction sector and lead the team by making strategic decisions using your strong commercial acumen.
  • An understanding of the construction sector would be advantageous, along with an in-depth knowledge of Manufacturing, Logistics, Customer Services, Dispatch and Sales - critical elements of our Rotorua operations.
  • A commitment to producing quality products
  • A passion to deliver outstanding customer service
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • A commitment to workplace safety
  • The ability to lead a large team operating across different critical business departments
  • An ability to develop and implement long term improvement programmes
