Customer Service/Forklift Operator
Bunbury

THE OPPORTUNITY

Due to increased product demand, we have a new and exciting opportunity for a customer-focused professional to join our home improvement store in Bunbury.

 

Reporting to the Production Manager, this hybrid role will work primarily in our customer pick up area, ensuring that our retail and trades customers are kept informed of their order progress as well as safely loading customer vehicles upon pick up.

 

This is an ongoing, full-time role, working across Monday to Friday with a rotating Saturday roster (with loading rates and potential for overtime). 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Greet and serving customers in our 'pick up' area, ensuring that orders are ready for collection.
  • Liaise with other internal and external stakeholders to efficiently and effectively resolve any concerns raised by the customer.
  • Load customer vehicles according to the safety guidelines.
  • Move stock and finished goods around the store and surrounding yard area safely.
  • Picking, packing and scanning stock ready for pick-up.
  • Assist retail team with in-store duties as required.
  • General housekeeping duties to ensure a tidy work environment.
  • Strict adherence to critical safety rules & contributing to a safe working environment

ABOUT YOU

  • Forklift license is essential.
  • Proven ability to provide solutions to enhance the customer's experience.
  • Previous experience within customer service/inventory management.
  • Highly organised with the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment as well as autonomously
  • Willingness to enhance the customer experience by working with enthusiasm, energy, and pace 
  • Whilst experience is great, it’ll be your passion, reliable attitude and personality that set you apart
