Whilst manufacturing is our foundation, our team is our future. THE OPPORTUNITY An exciting opportunity has become available at Stratco Mid North Coast for a MR Truck Driver based in Port Macquarie. This is a fixed term position for up to 3 months, working Monday to Friday. RESPONSIBILITIES - Review vehicle load sheets, plan the load and placement onto delivery truck
- Secure load, prepare manifest and assist loading when required
- Deliver to customers and place onsite as required
- Maintain vehicle and driver log
- Liaise with Despatch team and customers on delivery issues and delays
- Keep a clean truck at all times and ensure maintenance is up to date
- Collaborate with team members, other business areas and projects as required
- Strict adherence to our critical safety rules & contributing to a safe working environment
ABOUT YOU - Essential – Medium Rigid Licence & driving experience (MR)
- Desirable – experience operating a truck mounted crane
- Willingness to work metro and country runs
- Strength and fitness to undertake a frequent movement and lifting role
- Effective problem solver who can develop solutions that meet the customers’ needs
- Strong customer service & verbal communication skills
- Enjoys working autonomously
- Willingness to enhance the customer experience by working with enthusiasm, energy, and pace
