THE OPPORTUNITY

 

Stratco's Gepps Cross manufacturing facility are looking for a motivated, professional and experienced Despatch Team Member to join their team. This role will work primarily across our Outback product range, ensuring that products are carefully packed and loaded, ready for despatch.

 

This is a permanent full time opportunity working day shift (7am - 3:36pm), with overtime available.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Print out vehicle load sheets, plan the load and placement onto delivery trucks
  • Locate finished goods and load to the vehicle
  • Pick and pack Outback range products and load to the vehicles
  • Scan and update records to load sheets
  • General housekeeping duties
  • Move stock and finished goods around the warehouse safely
  • Maintain stock records and stock movements via scanners

 

ABOUT YOU

  • Proven experience driving forklifts and hand loading vehicles
  • Forklift License and SA Driver's license essential
  • Effective problem solver who can develop solutions that meet the customers’ needs
  • Good communicator, both written and verbal
  • Commitment to accuracy
  • Basic computer literacy
  • Able to work at pace within a team or at times individually
  • Knowledge and/or previous experience in the manufacturing industry will be looked upon favorably, but not essential
