THE OPPORTUNITY

Stratco's Gepps Cross manufacturing facility are looking for a motivated, professional and experienced Forklift Loader to join their team. The role of loaders is to ensure trucks, as well as customer vehicles are loaded and unloaded in a safe and timely manner with no damage. 

This is a permanent full time opportunity working night shift (10:00pm – 7:00am), with overtime available.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Print out vehicle load sheets, plan the load and placement onto delivery trucks
• Locate finished goods and load to the vehicle
• Pick and pack accessories and load to the vehicles
• Scan and update records to load sheets
• General housekeeping duties
• Move stock and finished goods around the warehouse safely
• Maintain stock records and stock movements via scanners

ABOUT YOU

• Proven experience driving forklifts and hand loading vehicles
• Forklift License and SA Drivers license essential
• Effective problem solver who can develop solutions that meet the customers’ needs
• Good communicator, both written and verbal
• Commitment to accuracy
• Basic computer literacy
• Able to work at pace within a team or at times individually
• Knowledge and/or previous experience in the manufacturing industry will be looked upon favorably, but not essential.
