At Stratco and based at our Napier operations, we're looking for an experienced Production Manager who can do more than manage production schedules and KPIs. This role is perfect for a leader who can motivate, inspire, and bring out the best in a small team. You'll be just as comfortable coaching team members on the production floor as you are planning workloads, improving processes, and ensuring targets are achieved.

As Production Manager, you'll be responsible for overseeing all aspects of production, dispatch, and logistics operations. Your remit will deliver high levels of performance in terms of safety, quality, customer, productivity and delivery reliability.

Success in this role comes from your ability to engage people, build accountability, and create a culture where safety, quality, and teamwork come first.

Your broader responsibilities will include:

* Foster a culture of safety, continuous improvement and accountability

* Manage production capacity versus demand, overseeing production workflow and         dispatch operations to ensure activities remain on schedule
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives across production, quality, safety, and             workflow processes
* Oversee the quality control of manufactured products, ensuring the highest                     standards of product quality before dispatch
* Monitor coil stock and inventory, targeting a zero-stockout environment

The difference you’ll make  
You are a practical, hands-on leader who enjoys working alongside your team and helping people succeed. You understand manufacturing environments, know how to motivate others, and can balance operational demands with strong people leadership. You'll bring:

* Proven experience in a Production or Operational leadership role. Whilst not                  essential, experience gained within metals-based manufacturing would be favorable
* Demonstrated success implementing CI initiatives and delivering measurable operational gains
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Formal training in Engineering, Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma would be an                   advantage.
