We currently have an opportunity available in our Retail Sales and Design Team, based at our Dandenong Home Improvement Store. This is an exciting opportunity to join an innovative and recognised leader in the Australian building and home improvement industry! You will listen to customers’ needs, provide solutions and sell our amazing range of products. The role is primarily responsible for greeting customers, designing and selling of Stratco products, answering questions, stocking shelves, maintaining displays and assisting with general store maintenance. As part of our collaborative Retail Team, you will benefit from support and Stratco training to ensure success in the role! This is a full-time rostered position, including Saturday shifts. The store is open Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.00pm and Saturday 9:00am to 2:00pm. The right candidate will be competitively remunerated (based on relevant skills and experience). RESPONSIBILITIES - Working in our Home Improvement Store, providing excellent customer service and selling goods
- Face to face and telephone customer service and sales
- Guiding customers through the design process
- Assisting customers to find innovative design solutions utilising CAD software
- Prepare accurate and timely project quotations
- Maintaining store stock levels and general housekeeping to ensure our store is always presentable
- Participation in training and personal development sessions
- Adherence to Stratco safety and other policies, ensuring a safe working environment

- Proven ability to provide solutions and drive sales
- Experience within a similar environment
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Willingness to enhance the customer experience by working with enthusiasm and energy
- A commitment to excellence and self-development
- Previous design consulting or building experience highly desirable, but not necessary (CAD skills an advantage)
