We’re on the lookout for a dynamic, people-focused Retail Sales Consultant to join our Doveton Home Improvement Store—part of one of Australia’s most trusted and innovative names in the building industry.

This isn’t just a sales job. One minute you’re chatting through ideas with a customer, the next you’re helping design a solution they didn’t even know was possible. It’s fast-paced, hands-on, and seriously rewarding.

You won’t be doing it alone. As part of our supportive and collaborative Retail Sales Team, you’ll receive ongoing training and development to set you up for success. This is a full-time, rostered role that includes Saturday shifts.

Broadly, your responsibilities will also encompass:

• Providing excellent customer service  

• Guiding customers through the design process 

• Collaborating with other team members to keep the store running smoothly, including store merchandising 

• General housekeeping to ensure our store is always presentable 

• Participation in training and personal development sessions 

• Adherence to Stratco safety and other policies, ensuring a safe working environment  

Becoming part of the Stratco retail family, we are looking for a person with:  

• Exceptional customer service and sales skills 

• Experience within a similar environment (retail or sales) 

• Availability to work full-time hours across a rotating roster 

• Willingness to enhance the customer experience by working with enthusiasm and energy 

• Good computer skills and eagerness to learn the Stratco design process
