THE OPPORTUNITY

Stratco currently has an opportunity for an experienced, organised and committed Accounts Payable Officer to join the team on a permanent full-time basis located at our corporate Head Office based at Gepps Cross. The Accounts Payable team are accountable for the accurate processing, verifying and reconciliation of vendor invoices and statements to ensure payments are processed in a timely manner.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• High volume invoice processing
• Management of outstanding invoices
• Prepare and process AP payments including the creation and scheduling of payments
• Liaise with all key stakeholders to resolve discrepancies
• Match supplier invoices to purchase orders through the ERP system (Oracle)
• Reconciliation of monthly supplier statements as required
• Undertake any other work as directed, related to finance duties

ABOUT YOU

• Demonstrated experience in a similar Accounts Payable or finance role 
• A passion to deliver outstanding customer service with the ability to build professional working relationships
• Have a strong financial system acronym, process understanding and adhere to compliance frameworks 
• Sound understanding of general ledger coding, account structures and profit & loss implications
• Exceptional time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage deadlines
• Highly developed problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Exceptional communication skills and a personable, approachable team player attitude 
• Strong computer literacy, intermediate Excel and MS Office skills, with the ability to quickly learn software; Oracle ERP system experience will be advantageous
