Your mandate

This unique opportunity presents to further strengthen your IT leadership and take charge of the global IT function at Stratco whilst our CIO steps into a strategic project role temporarily. This role is ideal for a seasoned technology executive who thrives on operational excellence, steady leadership and ensuring business critical services run smoothly. You’ll be responsible for maintaining the stability and security of Stratco’s technology environment while overseeing the delivery of our existing project portfolio. In addition, your remit will encompass:

• Provide steady, confident leadership to the IT team during the CIO’s temporary secondment
• Maintain high availability and reliability of operational IT services across the organisation
• Oversee the delivery of the current project portfolio, ensuring milestones, budgets, and outcomes remain on track
• Partner with business leaders to ensure technology continues to support operational and commercial priorities
• Manage vendor relationships and ensure service levels are met
• Uphold strong governance, cybersecurity, and risk management practices
• Support a smooth transition back to the permanent CIO at the end of the assignment

The individual

You bring a calm, capable presence and a track record of leading technology functions through periods of change or transition. You’re execution‑focused, pragmatic, and able to quickly build trust with teams and stakeholders.

We’re looking for someone with:

• Proven executive leadership experience in IT, as a CTO, CIO or equivalent
• Strong operational management capability across infrastructure, applications, and service delivery
• Demonstrated success delivering complex project portfolios
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• A collaborative, steady, and solutions‑oriented leadership style
• A preference for industry expertise encompassing retail, manufacturing and logistics domains.
