As we continue to expand, we are seeking an individual with project management skills to oversee the successful execution of residential supply and fit roofing projects. This role manages projects from job sign-up through to final installation, ensuring efficient planning, coordination of materials and labour, and client communication. The Project Manager ensures that all residential roofing projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality, safety and customer satisfaction.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Review consented plans for each job to ensure compliance and identify any changes to what was quoted.
  • Create project delivery plans that are tailored for each job’s unique specifications, materials or construction needs.
  • Facilitate inter-departmental communication to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Allocate and manage in-house teams and subcontractors to meet project timelines.
  • Work collaboratively with the Site Manager to resolve onsite topics.
  • Ensure all contractors are prequalified to meet health and safety standards.

 

ABOUT YOU

  • Proven experience in roofing, construction or a related industry.
  • Strong understanding of building codes and the ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients, contractors and team members.
  • Advanced Excel skills and competency with web-based job scheduling systems.
  • Expertise in project planning/coordination, including the creation and management of timelines, schedules and resource allocation for labour, materials and equipment.
