A fantastic opportunity now presents for a Safety Leader. Reporting to the General Manager, your remit will lead WHS activity for multiple site locations in QLD & NSW, encompassing manufacturing operations, site installations and sales offices. Going beyond compliance, you will provide support to the integration of safety into operational decision-making, identifying risks, eliminating hazards, and fostering a culture of shared responsibility at all levels of Matrix. This will include the management of safety metrics, manage risk assessments, prepare safety reports, audits, and incident investigations to drive continuous improvement. Working closely with multiple stakeholders, you will play a pivotal role integrating safety into operational strategies for enhanced efficiency and performance.

Accordingly, we require a proactive, passionate safety leader with a hands-on approach, who can continue to embed safety into our culture and processes. To succeed, you’ll need to balance planning with hands-on execution, influencing at all levels to create a safety-first mindset that goes beyond regulations. A background in manufacturing or engineering is highly desirable, and relevant tertiary qualifications are essential.
