As one of Western Australia’s leading sheet metal specialists, we focus on providing premium manufacturing processes from design and prototype to full production. We supply products and services to a wide range of clients in the commercial, corporate, industrial, private sectors and general public.   We are seeking an experienced CNC Laser Operator to join us in a full-time opportunity within our Forrestdale laser operations cutting team. This position works Monday to Friday, with overtime when required.    Responsibilities: - Operate the CNC laser cutting machine and other machinery to meet job specifications and production targets. 
 - Select and set up lenses based on material type and thickness, load programs and set machine parameters to ensure optimal performance of the equipment.
 - Monitor operations, troubleshoot issues and keep everything running smoothly.
 - Conduct routine maintenance and keep your machine operating effectively. 
 - Inspect final products to ensure top-notch quality.
 - Prepare products for shipment, manually or using hoist.
 - Load and unload materials with care and precision using forklifts.
 - Collaborate with your team to drive production excellence.
 - Keep accurate production records and maintain a tidy, safe workspace.
 - Follow all safety rules and quality standards.
 
 Skills and attributes:   - Previous experience operating laser machinery. 
 - A valid Forklift Licence is essential. 
 - Ability to load programs and set machine parameters to ensure optimal performance of equipment. 
 - Strong grasp of metal fabrication techniques and machine maintenance.
 - Excellent attention to detail and pride in your craftsmanship.
 - The ability to read technical drawings and specifications with confidence.
 - Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. 
 - Excellent communication and time management skills. 
 - Reliable and willing to do overtime when required
 - Be physically fit to meet the manual labour requirements of the role.
