Contour is a trusted name in Roofing, Windows, and Patio Products across the Nelson, Tasman, and Marlborough regions. We’re growing – which means we have an exciting opportunity for a motivated Windows and Aluminium Products Estimator to join our dynamic Nelson team.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Reporting to the Windows Manager, you’ll play a key role in our estimating process. This involves interpreting building plans, completing quantity take-offs, estimating time and materials, and preparing professional client quotations. Most of this work is done using a specialist aluminium joinery software package.

If you bring a background in construction, glazing, or joinery—and you’re confident with computers—you could be exactly who we’re looking for. Estimating experience is great, but not essential; we’re ready to provide full training to the right candidate who’s keen to learn and grow with us.

ABOUT YOU

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma (or similar) in construction management, engineering, or a related field preferred.
• Proven experience in estimating and pricing work
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong Excel skills 
• Familiar with CAD or similar design software (a bonus)
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills with keen attention to detail.
• Highly organised, deadline driven, and able to manage competing priorities
• Understanding of local building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
• Strong communicator with the ability to build great relationships with architects, builders, designers, and suppliers
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
